CANDLE CARE
CANDLES IN JARS:
Never leave your candle burning unattended. Make sure to extinguish the candle when leaving a room or before going to sleep.
Make sure not to place the lit candle near curtains, books, clothes, or any flammable objects. Make sure to keep lit candles away from drafts, ceiling fans, and air currents.
Keep your candle out of reach of pets and small children.
Place the lit candles at least three inches apart.
Extinguish the candle if the flame gets too close to the candle holder, as this could cause the glass to break.
Never burn your candle for more than 3 consecutive hours. If you love burning candles for more than 3 hours straight, make sure to extinguish the flame, let the wax harden, and then relight it. This is the safest way to continue burning your candle and will also help you achieve the longest possible burn time.
The first lighting of your candle is the most important. The wax holds memory from the first time it is lit. We recommend burning the candle for at least 2-3 hours the first time you light it. This helps ensure it melts completely. If you extinguish the candle before having a full pool of melted wax, the candle is likely to "tunnel."
Always trim the wick to 1/4 inch each time before lighting the candle. This helps prevent the flame from growing too large and keeps the candle burning in the best way!
